How to Design Graphic Tees

For this collection, I wanted to create and choose the graphics that end up on the shirts you can buy to have meaning and purpose. I wanted to go back to how I designed the first images I printed on my first few pieces, pre-Televised. At that time, I thought about messaging and storytelling: what does the image say; why to pick this graphic for this garment.
In looking back at my last two pieces, I found they were reactions; my reactions to other clothes or other graphics. I was asking how can I make something similar or how can I evoke a similar feeling to what I was seeing.
For future pieces, I will ask myself a few questions about them before I commit to making them available for sale.
1) Is this a reaction to a piece or moment in fashion?
2) Will someone wear this piece a few years from now?
2a) Is this graphic grounded in good design?
2b) Is this garment rooted in a timeless style?
3) Does this piece tell a story?
4) Does this piece represent Televised?
Hopefully, this guide will result in better pieces.
Thanks.
